CEC S Y Quraishi Received The Hali Award

Chandigarh: 27th December 2010, Chief Election Commissioner S Y Quraishi received the Hali Award for a lot of his work in the field of literature from Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia. He was bestowed the award during organized ceremony in the honor of several prominent litterateurs.
S Y Quraishi got the Hali Award for 2008-09 for Urdu literature and for 2009-10 to Urdu writer Ramesh Chander Puhal.
Pahadia announced the institution of 10 new awards for Urdu litterateurs, after giving various awards for the years 2008-09 and 2009-10.
Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia also announced the institution of a lifetime achievement award also include with Rs.1.51 lakh in cash.
New awards would motivate Urdu litterateurs and help in promotion of Urdu language. Urdu is too simpler, easier and traditional language. It was started in India, at that time it was thought as Muslims language but infact isn’t any religion or region language, everybody should try o learn Urdu because it is historical language and receptive for words of other languages.
